How should I store my vibrator?
Store it in a secure, dry location where it will not be in the way. We have included a convenient sealable bag to store your vibrator so that you can avoid contaminants such as dust or clothing lint.

Take the batteries out when you store it.
Always remove the batteries from your vibrator when not in use, it prolongs the life of the batteries, it eliminates the risk that the vibrator may get accidentally switched on and removes the risk of battery corrosion from old, cheap or defective batteries.

How should I clean my vibrator?
Before you clean your vibrator, take the batteries out and close the battery compartment. If it's an mains powered vibrator, make sure it's unplugged.Use mild soap and warm water, or a commercially available sex toy cleaner, (choose an antibacterial and antifungal). This will be particularly beneficial for those that suffer from Thrush or Candida.
Do not submerge your vibrator even if the packaging says it is waterproof. Less than 5% of vibrators are safe to submerge and will clearly state that it is submersible.If your toy has a bullet or egg vibrator inside a sleeve, remove all parts and wash them separately. Dry your vibrator thoroughly with a lint-free cloth or leave to air dry. Do not use paper towel, as it may stick and leave lint and fibers behind.

Charging a Rechargeable Vibrator.
Never plug a charger into a power point that is switched on. Not only do you risk damage to the vibrator but to yourself as well.

What are the best batteries to use in a vibrator?
Alkaline batteries last the longest, but most consumer tests don't show a significant or consistent difference in life from brand to brand. Alkaline batteries designed for high-performance use will give you a few more hours of life for a slightly higher price. If your device uses watch or hearing aid batteries, use the lithium-ion type.  Rechargeable batteries also perform well, and have the benefit of reducing environmental toxins and waste. They are slightly less convenient than disposables, as they take time to charge, and they require the initial investment for a set of rechargeable batteries and a recharger. Note: Do not attempt to recharge standard disposable alkaline batteries; they may explode.

Travel lock
Always check to see if your vibrator is equipped with a travel lock. A travel lock is a recent idea and is not a function on all vibrators so please check the instructions for details.

Inflatables
If you have purchased an item that has an inflatable or pump function always check that the release valve functions correctly before use.

Lubricant
Choosing a lubricant may not be as easy as you think. As a general rule water based lubricant may be used on most non silicone based vibrators and a silicone lubricant may be used on silicone based vibrators.  Please ask in store for a more comprehensive guide for your favorite brand of lubricant.
